With more than 30 years of professional dog grooming experience and a lifetime devoted to animals, this is my little corner of the internet where I share practical grooming advice, personal experiences and opinions, original resources, creative projects, and maybe even a laugh or two.

Dog grooming is one of the most misunderstood professions there is. Pet parents usually see 20 minutes to an hour or two of our day, while groomers live the other six, seven, eight or twelve. This site exists to bridge that gap by giving you an honest look at what life is really like inside a grooming salon, why we make the decisions we do, what challenges we face, and how groomers and pet parents can better understand each other. My goal isn’t just better grooms. It’s better relationships between groomers and pet owners for the sake of the dogs we all care about.
